LEWISTON — Irene D. Madore, 87, passed away on Dec, 22, 2017 at the family home of her son in Lewiston, with the family at her side.
She was born on Jan. 10, 1930, in Westbrook, the daughter of Donat Lariviere and Eva (Boucher).
Irene was one of nine children and she attended Biddeford schools. On June 11, 1949 she married Valere ‘Buck’ Madore. She resided in Biddeford until 1993 and then retired in Venice, Florida until her death.
She is survived by her husband and two sons Raymond and his wife Louise of Lewiston, Donald and his wife Patricia of Biddeford; four grandchildren Elaine Johnson and her husband Aaron of Merrimack, New Hampshire, Michelle Chessie and her husband Andrew of Sabattus, Maine, Angela Madore and companion Anthony, and Robert Madore of Biddeford; four great-grandchildren Gabrielle, Ayden, Joseph, and Riley; two brothers Robert and his wife Cindy, and Roger, both from Biddeford.

There will be a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church “Good Shepherd Parish” in Biddeford on April 27 at 11 a.m.
