We’re excited to report that on Dec. 31, 2017, after a three-year fundraising effort by volunteers, the Falmouth Memorial Library’s $2.8 million goal was met and surpassed. The energy and enthusiasm inside the library over the last month of fundraising was unbelievable. It’s so exciting to see how many members of the community share our vision of a modern, state-of-the-art library that will engage and serve patrons in ways that aren’t possible with the current building.

We would like to extend our many thanks to the more than 900 individuals, businesses, foundations, trust and donor-advised funds from 22 different cities and towns in Maine and 19 different states who made gifts and pledges to the Next Chapter Capital Campaign.

We would also like to thank the Town Council for its support, the staff of the library for their unwavering dedication, and the many volunteers who worked tirelessly with us on the campaign. We could not have reached our goal without all of you.
