KENNEBUNK — The Kennebunk boys basketball team topped visiting Marshwood 61-57 on Tuesday night to extend its winning streak to six games.
The Rams trailed by five points heading into the fourth quarter, but would catch fire and go on an 18-9 run to complete the comeback.
Max Murray led Kennebunk (6-2) with 23 points while Kyle Pasieniuk added 12 and Cam Lovejoy 11.
Portland 82, Sanford 54
The Bulldogs cruised to a win over Sanford on Tuesday evening.
Leyton Bickford continued to roll this season, picking up 22 points for the Spartans.
Emmanuel Yugu led Portland with 19 points while Terion Moss, Trey Ballew and Griffin Foley added 17 each.
Sanford will travel to Windham next and dropped to 1-7 on the year.
Girls Basketball
Old Orchard Beach 54, St. Dominic Academy 43
Trailing 28-19 at halftime, the Lady Gulls would outpace St. Dom’s 35-15 the rest of the way to earn the comeback win.
Maggie Strohm led OOB with 14 points and 11 rebounds while Shani Plante picked up 11 points. Bri Plante recorded seven assists for OOB.
