Manchester, N.H. — Vivian May Snow, 89, of Manchester, New Hampshire and formerly of Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Bonita Springs, Florida, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 at the home of her daughter in Pownal, Maine.

She was born April 4, 1928 in New Haven, Connecticut, daughter of Arcsel and Grace (Harrison) Brown, and was educated in Connecticut schools.

On Nov. 11, 1948 she married Patrick R. Snow in New Haven, Connecticut.

Vivian had worked in accounting and sales for small businesses, retiring in 1982.

Vivian was a proud Navy wife, a member and former President of the American Legion Auxiliary, and a member of the Eight and Forty. She enjoyed traveling with her husband with favorite trips to Texas and Florida. She enjoyed get-togethers with family and friends, playing Bingo, and knitting hats for all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick, on Oct. 21, 2004.

She is survived by one son Patrick Snow Jr. and his wife Lisa of Hudson, Massachusetts; four daughters Ellen Small and her husband Jim of Candia, New Hampshire, Nancy Bennis and her husband Jim of Pownal, Grace Godbout and her husband Mark of Orlando, Florida and Patricia Schoch of Manchester, New Hampshire; one step-sister Susan McCartin of New Haven, Connecticut; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visiting Hours will be 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018 at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A Mass of Christian Burial will be follow at 11 a.m. in St. Anne’s Chapel at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
