TURNER — Brunswick held leads throughout each quarter as the Dragon Orange team defeated Leavitt, 41-26, in girls junior varsity high school basketball action on Thursday.
The Dragons found themselves shorthanded throughout the contest due to injuries.
Kendall Dow scored 12 of her game-high 18 points in the second half in leading Brunswick’s surge. Dow was immense on the boards as she hauled down 14 rebounds, including 10 offensive boards.
Tanisha McKenzie and Chloe Coombs played well defensively for the Dragons, while Emily Cloutier was impressive on both ends of the court.
Kaitlyn Anair led Leavitt with seven points.
