BRUNSWICK — Ellis Noetzel led a strong defensive effort as the Brunswick Junior High School seventh-grade girls basketball team downed Tripp, 34-16, recently.

Guards Sophia Morin and Kelsie Carlton paced the offense with 12 and nine points, respectively.

Gabby Swain had her best all-around game, dropping eight points and playing shut-down defense. Jordyn Cummings led the front court scoring with five points. Ellie Sullivan and Hannah Lay also played well on the defensive end.
