Bryan was born on October 14, 1967, in Augusta, ME. He was a Morse High School graduate, class of 1986.
After graduation, Bryan was a mason in Florida and later worked at BIW for a short while. He eventually found his true calling working on the water where he was an urchin diver for over 20 years. For the past 10 years, Bryan had been working on various draggers. Besides being a hard worker, there wasn’t much he didn’t like from skydiving, tuna fishing, snowmobiling and he loved his family. Bryan was a loyal friend with a great sense of humor and loved by many.
Bryan is survived by his mother, Sue (Higgins) Dupont and husband James of Bath; his father Floyd Jenkins and wife Cathy of Lewiston; older sister Monica Karkos and her husband Ryan; younger sister Kelly Gaudet and 3 nephews, Cameron Snowdon, Matthew Hynes and Brandon Wallace.
A celebration of life will be held from 1-4 p.m. on February 17th at the home of his sister, Monica, 97 Whiskeag Road, Bath.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
