TOPSHAM — Mt. Ararat outscored Morse, 22-0, in the second quarter en route to a 59-41 victory in girls high school jayvee basketball action on Wednesday.
The Shipbuilders led 15-10 after a quarter, but trailed 32-15 at the half and 48-27 after three.
Erin Harty had 13 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals for the Eagles (9-5). Eriza Libby pitched in eight points, while Maddie Daulerio had seven points and seven boards. Alexa Eaton chipped in seven points and 10 rebounds, Jaden Lohr had seven boards and Sydney Chatman had six caroms.
Abby Carpenter drained five 3-pointers to lead Morse with 17 points. Julia Goddard added 12.
