LISBON — The 25th annual World’s Greatest Sleigh Rides will take place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 18 at 400 Main St., Lisbon Falls.
This is a chance to see horses up close, as well as old fashioned sleighs, and take a trip through fields and woods with teams of horses and sleighs will give rides through fields and woods . A snack shack on site offers hot homemade donuts, hot dogs, coffee, hot cocoa, soups and stews while they last.
All proceeds from this all volunteer charity event will go to Camp Capella, a summer camp for disabled children. Ride donations are $5 for adults and $3 for children. Other donations are accepted to help Camp Capella.
The event is courtesy of the Farmer’s Draft Horse, Mule and Pony Club and the Pejepscot Snochiefs Snowmobile Club.
