“Seeing White: That’s Not Us So We’re Clean,” John Biewen, creator of the “Seeing White” documentary radio series, and guest Dr. Chenjerai Kumanyika will speak about Northern racism, whiteness and radio, 6:30 p.m. in Hannaford Hall, USM Portland campus. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

Valentine’s Day with Lantz and Kargul: La Belle Époque, is being performed as part of the University of Maine faculty concert series at 2 p.m. at Feb 18 at Woodfords Congregational Church, 202 Woodford St., Portland. Tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for seniors, and free for students and those 21 and younger at usm.maine.edu/music/boxoffice.
