
The First Congregational Church of Buxton (Tory Hill Meetinghouse) in its “Souper Bowl” fundraiser on Feb. 4 to “tackle hunger” collected $47 and 205 pounds of food to support its local food pantry. SAD-6 papers available
Nomination papers are available for four at-large seats on the SAD-6 School Board including a three-year, Buxton term.
Other three-year seats are available in Hollis and Standish in addition to a two-year seat in Limington.

Excelling at USM
Several Buxton students have been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at the University of Southern Maine.
They are Victoria Durgin, Abigail Hayes, Emily Boyd, Shawn Houser, Kirsten Thomas, Alex Deering and Albert Dusseault.
