Cheryl Alexander Bathurst, 63, born on June 21, 1954, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at the Hospice House in Auburn surrounded by her family.

She attended schools in Bowdoin and in Brunswick. She spent most of her adult life as a daycare provider and was loved by all the children and parents. She was a member of the women’s auxiliary in Post 158 Lisbon Legion.

She was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth Alexander and Jacqueline Skelton; her husband, Gary “Hawg”; a brother, Robin Alexander; a sister, Cindy LeBourdais, and her grandparents.

She is survived by her stepfather, Tom Skelton; one daughter, Shannon Marquis and a son, Adam Marquis; grandchildren Devin, Cheyenne, Ariana, Cole, and Kaylee; sisters, Brenda Uhle and her husband Mike, Elaine Kelly and her husband Kevin, Barbie McPheters and her husband Steve, Bonnie Myles and her husband Patrick; two brothers, Spencer, Jason and his wife Kathy, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, aunts and uncles.

There will be a celebration of life being held at noon on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at the Vineyard Pathway Church in Lewiston.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice House in Auburn.
