
The deputy, Gregg Sevigny, was able to determine who the driver actually was and discovered that the man’s license had been revoked.
Tison Gagne, 28, of Biddeford was arrested on a Class D misdemeanor charge of driving while his license was revoked, along with two Class E misdemeanor charges including failure to give police his correct name and date of birth, and operating with a suspended registration. Gagne was remanded to the York County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.
Two other people in the vehicle were arrested and are facing charges.
York County Sheriff William King in a statement said that Rebecca Person of Biddeford, 25, was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a theft charge.
She was taken to York County Jail, where she was allegedly found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and subsequently issued a summons charging trafficking in prison contraband. Her bail on the charges is $1,200.
A third person in the vehicle, Erick Robinson of Biddeford, 33, was arrested on a warrant charging he failed to appear in court to answer a charge of unlawful possession of drugs. He was taken to York County Jail, where his bail was set at $200.
The trio were scheduled to make their first appearance in court by video from the jail sometime Wednesday.
