Hunting for cat

Police couldn’t locate a cat that was reported to be injured last month, and a caller said the animal had relocated to a field/vacant barn on Finn Parker Road.

Cat up a tree

Police received a call last month about a cat in a tree on Ossipee Trail.

Cat rescued

Police removed a cat from the basement of a residence, following a call last month from Gray Road. The cat was taken to the Animal Refuge League in Westbrook.

Dead cat discovered

Police notified public works last month to pick up a deceased cat found on Huston Road. Police told a caller it appeared that the cat had been hit and left wrapped in a T-shirt.

Attempted rescue

In another cat call last month, someone was upset that public safety personnel wouldn’t climb a tree on Evergreen Drive to rescue a cat. A man said he had a ladder and was attempting to retrieve the feline.
