FALMOUTH — Nomination papers are now available for June’s local election.
There are two seats available on the Town Council, two available on the School Board and six open seats for the new Charter Commission, according to Town Clerk Ellen Planer.
The two seats on the council are currently held by Karen Farber and Ned Kitchel. Farber is term-limited, but Kitchel could serve one more three-year term, Planer said.
The School Board seats are held by Dee Conroy Vella, who is also term-limited and Cindy Han, who is eligible to run again, according to Planer.
She said candidates must collect the signatures of between 25 and 1,000 registered voters and nomination papers are due back in the clerk’s office by 5 p.m. on April 17.
