Russ was born on July 10, 1960, in Biddeford, Maine, to Rachel and Norman Mondor.
Russ is survived by his loving wife, Julie Mondor, and his two daughters, Bethany Mondor and Kimberly Mondor. Russ is also survived by his mother, Rachel Mondor, and his siblings, Kathy Clegg (Mike), Linda Mondor, Richard Mondor (Denise), Donna Monk (Wayne), and Nancy Souliere (Jim), and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Russ is predeceased by his father, Norman Mondor.
Russ served in the Air Force immediately following high school and lived for an extended time in Germany and Turkey. He started his career with the telephone company before switching to computer networking, a path that led him to South Carolina and North Carolina. An opportunity to start a pool service and repair company eventually brought him to Florida, where he enjoyed being outdoors in the sun.
Russ was a hard-working man and it showed in everything he did. His pool customers loved him, and many became his friends. Russ and Julie married on June 7, 1985 and he was a loving and dedicated husband and father to his “three girls.”
A memorial service will be held in Russ’s honor in Maine. Details will be announced as they become available.
