LYMAN – A vigil for peace will be held on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Goodwins Mills United Methodist Church, 55 Church St., Lyman.
The vigil will include a time of remembrance for the victims and families of the school shooting in Florida, candle light and prayer, special music, sharing by local school administrators and interfaith clergy.
As we come together in community, we celebrate our commonalities and our diversity. We advocate for peace to be realized in our communities and in the world. We advocate for our children and safety in our schools.
