Celebrate the music of Ireland with The Mountain Top Music Singers Workshop. Ginnie Spaulding, Michelle Coffee, Dave Mason, John Waldie, Bob Carper, Peter Cash, Jennifer Day, Lois King and Mary Bastoni create a carnival of Celtic sounds on Sunday, March 18th at 2 p.m. at the Denmark Arts Center on Route 160 in Denmark. Come celebrate the patron saint of Ireland with the Danes. A $15 donation is suggested (doors open ½ hour before). The Khemtrails are a funky rock four-piece creating a buzz. Seasoned veterans of their craft, they’ll be performing fun, danceable music for all ages at 6 p.m. Donations accepted. Come join Post 86 as they raise funds for the American Legion Junior Baseball Team, the GNG Post 86 Patriots. Hosted by American Legion Post 86 Gray, 15 Lewiston Rd, Gray, Maine. 274-0079.

The Lighthouse Jubilees will hold a Southern Gospel Concert at the Buxton Center Baptist Church on 938 Long Plains Rd. Rt. 22 on Sunday, March 25th from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.  Come, and bring a friend. For more information call 572-4367. Offering taken.

“Willy Wonka Jr.” presented by Windham Center Stage Theater, 8 School Rd, in the Windham Town Hall. Ninety talented kids in two casts. March 9-25. Saturday, March 17th 

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the Irish national pastime — poetry.
 The Lowry’s Lodge Poetry Series presents Andrew Rosen and Jenny Doughty with hosts Jim Donnelly and Anna Wrobel at Continuum for Creativity, 863 Main St., Westbrook. Parking is available behind the gallery and across Main Street behind CVS. $4 suggested donation. Light fare.

The Denmark Arts Center and Centennial Hall will co-host a family-friendly Contradance on Saturday, March 24th at 6 p.m. at Centennial Hall on Route 160 in Denmark. Birds on a Wire with caller Eric Rollnick will perform. A teaching session will begin at 6 p.m. for the first ½ hour. All are welcome to this family-friendly dance and potluck (bring a dish to pass if you are so inclined.) A $10 donation is suggested.
