BIDDEFORD — Tied 2-2 in the waning seconds of the first quarter, the University of New England rattled off 13 unanswered goals to come away with a 15-3 men’s lacrosse victory against the University of Southern Maine on Monday evening at the Big Blue Turf.
The Nor’easters (3-1) received two goals and five assists from Alex Zadworny. Mitch Mullin led with four goals.
Former Morse High School standout Alec Beveridge chipped in a pair of goals in the win.
UNE will play Lasell College tonight (7 p.m.) at Homewood Field in Baltimore.
