Searching for an Easter egg hunt or a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny? Look no further. There are several area Easter events that offer a variety of family friendly activities. Hop on down to one of these events for some Easter fun.

•The Biddeford Recreation Department is hosting a free Easter Egg Hunt and other activities from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on March 31 at Biddeford Primary School, 320 Hill St. There will be photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny and Mr. Magic will be on hand creating balloon animals. Light snacks will be served in the school cafeteria. 

• Kennebunk Recreation Department is hosting a free Easter egg hunt on March 24 from 10 a.m. to noon. An Easter egg hunt for children up to 4 years old will be held at the Town Hall Auditorium. Children 5 to 8 can attend an Easter egg hunt at Parson’s Field at Park Street near Waterhouse Center. Families with children in both age groups who can only attend one event should go to Parson’s Field. 

• The Old Orchard Beach Recreation Department is once again hosting the annual Egg-Stravaganza. This long-standing tradition will be held this year from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 24 at the Old Orchard Beach High School gymnasium, 40 Emerson Cummings Boulevard.
There will be more than 6,000 eggs at the egg hunt, according to the recreation department. There will be other children’s games, face painting, a bounce house and a photo opportunity with the OOBunny. The activities are free and food will be available for purchase. • Saco Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Easter Bunny Breakfast at 8:30 a.m. March 31 in conjunction with Young School’s annual Beary Fun Day at the community center at 75 Franklin St. Activities continue until noon and include carnival games and pictures with the Easter Bunny. An egg hunt will be held at 10 a.m. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage and juice or coffee. Tickets for the breakfast must be reserved ahead of time. Those who wish to come for just the activities can pay the day of the event. The cost is $10 for the breakfast, carnival games and egg hunt for children and $5 for the breakfast for adults. The cost at the door for Beary Fun Day activities and egg hunt is $5.

• The Lakeside Community Church is hosting an Easter Egg hunt on the grounds of Waterboro Elementary School, 340 Sokokis Trail at 10:30 on March 31. Children ages 2 to 12 are welcome to participate, and older siblings are welcome to come cheer them on.
