EMILY ROY’S FIFTH GRADE CLASS from Fisher Mitchell Elementary recently visited EB Baldwin’s culinary program at Bath Regional Career and Technical Center. Incorporating the fifth grade’s curriculum, which included fractions and creative writing, the students accurately measured out ingredients for cookies and wrote slogans for their make-believe cookie companies. BRCTC culinary students and faculty coached their younger counterparts in recipe following, kitchen etiquette, and safety.
