BIDDEFORD — Leo Raymond Dubuc, 91 years old, died peacefully on March 22, 2018 with family at his side.

He is survived by his daughters Donna Lee Harmon and her husband James, and Leslie Ann Puchalski and her husband Paul. Leo was preceded in death by his spouse of 68 years, Odette Marcella Perreault-Dubuc.

He was born and raised in Biddeford Maine by his parents Joseph Dubuc and Sophranie Lambert-Dubuc who came from Canada to settle in Biddeford, Maine. He was raised with his siblings Raymond Dubuc, Rita Vehorn, and Doris Bisson in St. Andre’s Parish. He later became a congregant at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford, Maine. 

Leo was active in sports, was a tremendous ice hockey player, and a dedicated fan of the Boston Bruins.

He worked as a supervisor at the Saco Tannery and became an entrepreneur as the owner/operator of The Echo Motel & Cottages in Old Orchard Beach, Maine for 20 years. Leo took great pride in raising his family, he took every opportunity to support their advancement in life by spending countless hours guiding them to success. He was an accomplished business person who was active at the Old Orchard Beach Chamber of Commerce and a member of Maine Innkeeper’s Association.

Leo has joined Odette in heaven and memories of their lives will be carried on by those who love them.

Burial arrangements will be private.
