
He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts on Dec. 7, 1958 the son of William and Jayne Laprade Reid.
William was raised by Roland and Jayne Laprade Richard in Spencer, Massachusetts.
He graduated from David Prouty High School and did carpentry work for various companies. He was a long-time resident of Spencer, Massachusetts, moving to Maine in 2012 to be with his daughter and grandsons.
He enjoyed baseball, carpentry and spending time with family, specially his grandsons.
He is predeceased by his father William R. Reid, Sr. and a daughter, Crystal Lynn Mclain.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather Jayne and Roland Richard; a son Jarred Reid; a daughter Amanda Reid; three brothers, Norman Reid, Steven Reid, and Roland Richard; two sisters Deborah Defosse and Lisa Holmgren; and six grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, Hunter, Brooke, Jordon and Jayden.
Friends and relatives may call at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home 365 Main St., Saco on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. A 7 p.m. service will follow at the funeral home.
Burial will be at a later date.
