LYMAN — Robert (Bob) L. Atkins, 73, of Lyman died on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice in Scarborough, Maine, with his loving family by his side. 

He was born March 13, 1945, in Natick Massachusetts, a son of Donald and Louise (Todd) Atkins.   He attended New Preparatory School, and was a 1967 graduate of Nathaniel Hawthorn College. 

On September 14, 2001, he married Priscilla Juneau-Fecteau at St Joseph Church.

Bob was a retired teacher with the Manchester School System. He owned and operated Leslie Construction, ran a maple sugar shack and was active with town politics in Windsor, New Hampshire.  Bob was also an active member of the planning board and conservation committee in Lyman. 

Bob was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed repairing and driving Jeeps.  He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Bob was also an avid camper and loved to explore the U.S. in his RV with his wife, Priscilla, and their dog, Dottie.  Bob was well known for his sense of humor, his love of his pets, his love of his family and John Deere toys.

Bob was predeceased by his first wife, Edith Baines Atkins, in 1999.

Bob is survived by his wife, Priscilla Atkins of Lyman; a son Shawn Atkins and his wife Kathy of Washington, New Hampshire; a daughter Courtney Lunn and her husband Paul of Spring Hill, Florida; stepsons Leo Juneau and his wife Michelle of Kinston Spring, Tennessee  and Robert Juneau and his wife Melissa of Syracuse, New York; stepdaughter Linda Muessig and her husband John of Lee, New Hampshire; his Sister: Donna Schell of Warren, Massachusetts; three grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, at St Phillip Church in Lyman. Reception will follow mass at Most Holy Trinity Church, 271 Main St. in Saco, Maine. Burial will be in Washington, New Hampshire, at the convenience of the family.  The date has not been set.
