There have been a string of reports of graffiti in downtown Bath over the last few weeks. On March 28, graffiti was found painted on the M.W. Sewall building. The next evening, two kids were spotted painting graffiti on another building. The two suspects were caught on video running away from the incident, though neither has been identified. After that, the area around the bridge was covered with graffiti. The Main Street Bath office was tagged as well. The graffiti still visible on the bridge appears to spell out “Jinco,” although the meaning of the word is unknown. “We’re keeping an eye out,” said Lieutenant Robert Savary. “If anyone who knows anything, we welcome that information for sure.”
