RICHMOND MIDDLE SCHOOL advisor Patrick Gallogly kisses a goat supplied by Richmond Police Chieft Scott MacMaster, also pictured, during an assembly April 12. In March, Richmond Middle School organized a Penny War fund raiser to raise money for field trip transportation costs. Each advisor group collected pennies — with the group collecting the most pennies winning a pizza party. Other students could cancel out a group’s pennies by depositing silver change, dollar bills or Box Tops for Education in their jars. The advisor with the lowest value of pennies — in this case, Gallogly — would have to kiss a goat in a school wide assembly. The school raised $633.40.
