TOPSHAM— Eli Ouellette and Dan Pratt each singled twice to power the Mt. Ararat High School jayvee baseball team to a 9-6 victory over Skowhegan on Wednesday.
The Eagles (1-0) also received a single each from JD Dionne, Trey Booty, Ian Brady, James Singleton and Kobe Clark in the win.
Trey Booty and Trevor Brown combined on five strikeouts, five walks and one hit batsman in the win.
Dylan Bickford, Jacob Steeves, Cam Green and Chance Towle each singled for Skowhegan. Four pitchers combined on two punchouts, five walks and a hit batter.
