TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School eighth- grade baseball team came away with a 7-6 victory over Brunswick in eight innings recently.
While the Eagles led for the majority of the game, a late Brunswick rally tied the game before eventually going ahead by two in extra innings.
In the bottom of the eight inning, the Eagles battled back to score three runs and take the win.
Ty Henke and Carson Taylor joined forces on the mound. Ryan Robertson and Braedon Johnson made some tremendous defensive plays during the game for the home team, while Cody Bowker hit a homerun to pace the Eagles offense.
