BRUNSWICK — Bowdoin College baseball players Eric Mah and Joe Gentile have been honored in All-New England Small College Athletic Conference awards announced on Wednesday.
Mah, a sophomore infielder, was named as a First Team selection, while Gentile, a senior outfielder, was recognized as a Second Team choice.
Mah earned the first All- NESCAC honor of his career as a First Team infielder. Mah led Bowdoin with a .358 batting average. He pounded out 43 hits, including seven doubles, and scored 28 runs. Mah also stole 10 bases for Bowdoin this season.
Gentile capped a fantastic career with a strong campaign, batting .320 with a .409 on-base percentage. He collected 31 hits and 20 RBIs this season for the Polar Bears and finished his career as a .302 hitter.
