Mt. Ararat scored seven unanswered runs to rally for an 8-3 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference high school softball victory over Lincoln Academy.
Ema Hawkes was 4-for-4 in the win, while Kayleigh Temple added three hits. Zoe Stilphen reached base four times (hit, two walks, hit by pitch).
Tied 3-3 in the fifth, Stilphen walked and stole second. Hawkes singled for a 4-3 Mt. Ararat lead and Temple drove her in.
In the sixth, three Mt. Ararat runners scored when Emily Wormwood’s fly ball was dropped.
Mt. Ararat is 4-6 and visits Mt. Blue on today at 5 p.m.

The Greyhounds scored nine runs in the fourth inning for a mercy-rule MVC win over the Roadrunners.
Mallory Fairbanks tossed a two-hit shutout as Lisbon improved to 8-2 and visits Spruce Mountain on Friday at 4 p.m.
At the plate, Fairbanks had two hits and an RBI, while Giana Russo and Morgan Fenderson were 2-for-2 and combined for three RBIs. Sydney Plourde scored twice.

Marissa Parks scored the winning run on a passed ball in the seventh inning as Morse walked off with a KVAC win over the Tigers in Bath.
The Shipbuilders are 8-4 and visits Freeport today at 4 p.m.
Parks doubled and singled twice to power Morse’s 12-hit offense. Dory Kulis and Micailah Albertson each homered, with the homer by Kulis tying the game, 6-6, in the seventh. Abby Carpenter chipped in two singles, while Brook Kulis doubled and singled. Paige Faulkingham also singled.
Dory Kulis went the distance for the mound win with six strikeouts, six hits and one walk.

Danielle Cyr fell just short of a no-hitter as Lewiston cruised to a KVAC shutout over Brunswick at Bates College.
Jordyn Rubin led the Blue Devils (9-2) with three hits.
Alexis Guptill belted out the lone hit for Brunswick (0-12) in the first inning.
Baseball
LEWISTON — Hunter Landry hurled a no-hitter as Lewiston hustled to a 5-0 KVAC victory over Brunswick in a late-season baseball tilt.
Landry helped the Blue Devils’ (8-3) cause with three hits and one RBI. Evan Cox drove in a run on two hits, while Jack Leblond also belted out a pair of hits.
Ichino Honda gave up 11 hits for the struggling Dragons (3- 10), who have dropped six straight and host Mt. Ararat on Friday at 4 p.m.

Alic Shorey had two hits
and earned the mound win to lead the visiting Tigers to a KVAC win over the Shipbuilders.
Morse led 2-1 in the fifth, but Gardiner tallied 12 runs to take control.
Parker Onorato doubled twice for Morse (5-7), with Isaiah Cogswell going 2-for-2. Austin Magliozzi added a double.
Morse visits Freeport today at 4 p.m.
Girls lacrosse
BATH — Emily Martin tallied five goals and Mae Winglass chipped in four as Morse (4-4) rolled to a 16-4 victory over Gardiner/Hall- Dale at McMann Field.
Macie Gagne added two goals and three assists, while Marija Medenica had two goals and one helper. Abbie Baker and Maddie McDonough chipped in a goal and an assist each, while Emioy Belanger and Sydney Moore had a goal each. Emma Roth Wells also added an assist.
Michaela Gardner scored two goals for Gardiner/Hall- Dale.
Abby Sreden, Zenaide McCarthy and Sophie Wilson shared goaltending duties for the Shipbuilders, combining on 12 saves.
Morse hosts Lake Region on Friday at 7 p.m.

Lyla Solberg found the net just 1:30 into overtime to lift Brunswick to a KVAC victory over Oxford Hills.
Colleen McKearney and Rian Sach led the Dragons (3-5) with three goals and one assist. Beth Labbe scored a pair of goals, while Solberg’s game-winner completed the tally.
Derry Bessette and Caroline Burns led the Vikings (5-2) with two goals apiece, while Ella Kellogg, Margaret Hartnett, Gillian Grover and Cecilia Dieterich also tallied.
