SANFORD — Juliette Annette Cote, of Sanford, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 13, 2018 (Mother’s Day).
She was born on July 24, 1933, the 10th child of Napoleon and Alice (Morneau) Alexandre in Sanford, Maine. She attended Lafayette and Emerson Schools through eighth grade then stayed home to assist her mother with the younger children.
On Sept. 4, 1954, at the age of 21, she married Andre C. Cote and together they raised ten children. Their marriage lasted 61 ½ years until his death on April 6, 2016.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband, and son-in-law, Edward Kenyon, Jr.; brothers Joseph (Pete), Raymond, George, Adrian, Edgar, Roland, Henri and Louie; sisters Adrienne Henry, Henriette Lamirande and baby Rolande.
She is survived by sons Paul of Sanford, Daniel & Muriel of South Carolina, and Richard and Amelia of Springvale; daughters, Rita & Jim Bacon of Springvale, Irene & William Single of Lyman, Claire and Bruce Urquhart, Monique Kenyon, Marguerite and Tom Cannon all of Sanford, Cecile Bourgoin of Virginia, and Pauline and Kenneth Butler of Appleton; brothers Ronald, Andre, Roger and Gerard Alexandre; and sisters Anita Marie Marceau, Sister Shirley Alexandre, and Therese Klingensmith, and families, cousins, 19 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and six step-great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church with family gathering at 10:15 to greet people.
