How long in real estate

I’ve been at Benchmark for just over a year, after working as the Creative Director for a concert venue in New Hampshire, and as website administrator for Nashua, N.H.

I came to Benchmark as Marketing Manager for The Landry Team, but my design background made me a better fit for Creative Director.

What’s your role at Benchmark?

As Creative Director, I’m in charge of company branding; all the listing marketing for The Landry Team (brochures, websites, etc.); and, with Public Relations Director Amy Landry, all the advertising and sponsorships. I definitely stay busy!

I work with the processing team (led by Courtney Parsons) to compile new listing information. That includes professional photography; a writeup by our staff historian (Tom Landry is the local historic home expert); and remarks from the owners, if they choose.

When I’m not working on listings, I team up with Amy on re-designing and updating our website, benchmarkmaine.com; maintaining our social media presence, and planning the charitable events we’re involved in.

A love of real estate

There’s probably no bigger transaction in a person’s life than buying or selling a home, and I really enjoy helping our clients through this process and telling their home’s story. My favorite things are learning the history of local homes and seeing all the hard work people have put into their houses over the years.

I grew up in an historic farmhouse in southern New Hampshire; my father is a carpenter, my mother an interior designer, so home improvement is in my blood!

How do you like Maine?

I’m not a native of the state, but my fiancé and I have never felt more at home. We love the restaurants, the arts, the entertainment, and the people we’ve met. I can’t picture living anywhere else.
