DOVER, N.H. — James P. Grinnell, Sr. 49, passed away Saturday May 19, 2018 at his home following a brief illness.
Born Nov. 13, 1968 in Brookline, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Robert Grinnell and Elizabeth (Webster) Moulton.
James had worked as a professor at Merrimack College. He was an avid reader, he loved the ocean, teaching, his students and spending time with his children.
Members of his family include his children James, Jr., Anna, Ella, and Jacob Grinnell, all of Eliot, Maine; and two siblings, Robert Grinnell of Saco, Maine; and Donna Hebert of Biddeford, Maine.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
