BRUNSWICK — Gregory R. Phelan died on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at his home in Brunswick. He was born on January 20, 1932, the son of Ronald and Anna (Auclair) Phelan.
Mr. Phelan was a teacher and librarian in the Brunswick School Department.
He is survived by his wife, Leona (Dee) Phelan, whom he married on July 2, 1960, two daughters, Elizabeth Phelan and Sharon (Phelan) Siegel, a granddaughter, Anna Grace Siegel, a grandson, Benjamin Gregory Siegel, a brother, John (“Jack”) Phelan, a sister-in-law, Freda (Dee) Wright, and three nephews, David and Robert (“Bob”) Phelan and Stephen Wright.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday June 7, 2018, at Sacred Heart Church in Yarmouth. A private burial will be held following the funeral. A reception will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at his home on 13 Whittier St. in Brunswick.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brackett Funeral Home in Brunswick.
