BALTIMORE — Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts has been activated from the 10-day disabled list and is in the lineup for Boston’s game Monday against the Baltimore Orioles.

Betts has been on the disabled list since June 1, retroactive to May 29, with a left abdominal strain. The 25-year-old outfielder missed Boston’s last 14 games. He leads the majors in batting average (.359), on-base percentage (.437) and slugging percentage (.750). He also shares the major league lead for runs scored with 52. He has 17 home runs this season.

To make room for Betts on the roster, the Red Sox optioned first baseman Sam Travis to Triple-A Pawtucket.
