SANFORD — Bob Maurais from Mainely Ticks will share strategies to better protect families  from ticks and tick-borne diseases when he talks about ticks 6:30 to 8 p.m. July 10 at Goodall Library.  Discussions will include personal protection strategies, landscape modifications and the life cycle of the deer tick. A 50 minute presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer period — folks may  long as they like. Educational literature will be distributed, including identification guides and bookmarks. This free event will be held at the Goodall Library, 952 Main Street, Sanford.
