BRUNSWICK — Carrie Ann Tardif, 68, of Brunswick, passed away on July 6, 2018. She was born on September 14, 1949, in Van Buren, ME, to Armand and Constance Fortin.
Carrie graduated high school in Van Buren.
She married Clayton Tardif on October 10, 1970 and remained married for 39 years. She selflessly raised a family of four biological children, six adopted children, and fostered 26 others.
Carrie was loving, caring, and never wanted to inconvenience anyone. She had an exceptional memory and never missed a birthday. She was thrifty, crafty, and creative.
Carrie was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter, Jessica; and brother, Wayne. She is survived by: her children,

Tardif, Shawn Tardif,
Christopher Tardif,
Aaron Tardif, Joshua
Tardif, Josh-Luke
Alsop, and Richard
Tardif; siblings, Joyce Edwards, Phyllis Thayer, Lew Johnson, Paula Fortin, Monica Cote, and Armand Fortin; 22 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of Carrie’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018.
