OAKLAND, (AP) — Police say an 8-year-old boy has been found dead inside a home in Maine.
State Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says first responders found the boy inside an Oakland home around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
McCausland says officers have interviewed the boy’s parents, and they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the boy’s death.
The boy’s body has been transported to the state medical examiner’s office. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
