KENNEBUNK — Kennebunk Free Library Trustee Dan Riggall will host an “Introduction to Ukulele” class for adult learners at the Kennebunk Free Library.
Have you ever thought about learning to play a ukulele? Now is your chance.
At 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, Riggall will launch a class where participants will learn some basic chords and techniques and where to find resources to continue learning on your own.
No ukulele? No problem. The library will have a limited number available to try out. After the class, ukuleles can be checked out for a three-week period.
This program is free and wheelchair accessible. The Kennebunk Free Library is at 112 Main St. in Kennebunk.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
