BUXTON — A traffic stop of an All Terrain Vehicle by police has led to the arrest of two Buxton men.

According to Buxton Police Chief Troy Cline, Buxton Officer Jessica Ramsey observed two men riding an All Terrain Vehicle in the travel lane on River Road (Route 112) in Buxton about 7:45 p.m. July 16.

Ramsey conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and the operator was identified as Tristan Collins, 20, of Buxton. The ATV passenger was identified as Austin Perry, 21, also of Buxton.

Cline said that upon further investigation, it was determined that both Collins and Perry had been drinking.
