WELLS — The Wells and Ogunquit Historical Society will present a lecture “Conversations with History” on Saturday, Aug. 25, with doors opening at 6:45 p.m., in their meetinghouse at 938 Post Road (U.S. Route 1) in Wells.
The event begins at 7 p.m. with Diane Fallon, a professor of Humanities at York County Community College, who will discuss her newly-published book, “Pioneer on a Mountain Bike.”
A treat preceding the event will be offered by the R & B Bistro of Wells, Maine; donations are welcomed to support educational programming hosted by the Historical Society.
