LISBON FALLS — Patricia Prosser Turcotte, of Lisbon Falls, ME, age 79, died after a long illness on August 19, 2018. Born February 4, 1939, at Brunswick Hospital to Walter Jr. and Helen Fickett Prosser of Pejepscot Village, Maine.
Wife of the love of her life Ron William Turcotte married on July 20, 1957. Patricia attended Pejepscot Grammar School and graduated Lisbon High School in 1957. Her two beloved sons, Ronald Scott Turcotte and Kelo Paul Turcotte, were the beginning of her special family.
They lived in Murfreesboro, Tenn., where Ronald served in the USAF. Returning to their love, Maine, at the end of his tour. They lived in Topsham, Lisbon Falls and Bar Harbor, Maine.
She worked as a Tupperware dealer, at the Mitchel egg farm, Lisbon Police Department, Maine Electronics, and at a craft store. She had an herb business, Wormwood Farm, on Route 9 for 12 years, retiring due to health problems. She wrote two books on gardening titled New England Herb Gardener and Perennials for the Backyard Gardener, Countryman publishers Vermont.
She was a member of Topsham Garden Club, Lisbon Shakespeare Club, and Episcopal Church. Patricia loved spending time with family, hunting for collectibles at flea market and antique shops.
She spent a lot of time watching birds, turkeys and Canada geese, visiting the bird feeders, and enjoyed sitting at her tranquility meditation shed at the Farm Pond counting different pond species.
Patricia was a collector of many things including cook books, Christmas decorations, kitchenware, toasters and toys. Her love of cats, chickens, birds and nature in general was well known.

Grandchildren Kelo Scott Turcotte of Lakeville, ME, Hunter Lee Turcotte and Wife Jamie Buffy of Monmouth, ME, Jessica Ann and mate Rex Burril of Carol, ME, Zoe Elizabeth and mate Tim Penicaud of Martha’s Vineyard, MA, Nicole Ashley and mate Mike St. Pierre of Springfield, ME, Anna Michelle and mate Nathan Blackwell of Freeport, ME, Jordan Rahsaan and mate Whitney Graham of Brunswick, ME, great granddaughters Mya Arsenault and Chloe Burril of Carrol, ME, many nieces and nephews, and Patricia’s beloved companion “Hannah” the cat.
Services for Patricia Turcotte are under the care of Crosman Funeral Home in Lisbon, ME. A visitation will be held at 2 p.m. before a memorial service, held at the Lisbon Falls Baptist Church on Sunday, August 26 at 2:30 p.m.
