FREEPORT — Cleo E. F. Lavallee, 95, formally of Gray, peacefully passed away and entered eternal life on August 21, 2018. She has been reunited with her husband Leo Paul Lavallee, son James Lawrence Lavallee and many siblings.

Cleo was born on March 31, 1923 in Wadesboro, North Carolina, a true Southern Lady. Graduating not only from high school but also beauty school and then dental school.

While on her many summer vacations visiting her favorite aunt in Sebasco/Phippsburg she met her forever soulmate Leo.

Although she was a quite lady, it was only by a casual conversation and on a long drive to Florida that we learned more about her past. Listening to music on the radio the Dixie Chicks played and she explained how she loved them because it reminded her of the allgirl bands that she was in during high school and that she could play both fiddle and guitar, which we never heard about growing up. She loved music.

She had a great sense of humor and an extra special love for her family, animals and chocolate!

Cleo is survived by four generations which include Paul L. Lavallee of Gray, Pauline E. Smith of Brunswick, seven grandchildren nine greatgrandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

But please know that I am there.

I am the flowers in the garden

I am the wind beneath your hair.

Love you more
