BRUNSWICK — In the first 11-on-11 field hockey game of the season, the Brunswick High School jayvee squad dominated in a 6-1 victory over Camden Hills on Wednesday.

Kelsey Sullivan opened the scoring nine minutes into the game, with Grace Casey assisting, for the host Dragons, but Camden’s Sophia Mott tied the game.

Sullivan gave Brunswick the lead for good off an assist from Anna Barnes for a 2-1 halftime advantage.

In the second half, the Dragons poured it on, as Sullivan tacked on two more goals and chipped in a pair of assists. Brianna Campbell and Julia Pols scored their first high school goal for a 6-1 lead.

Sara Coughlin and Gia Guernelli were key in keeping Camden Hills out of the Brunswick defensive end. Liberty Krauss had a strong showing in her first game in returning to the goal cage.
