FREEPORT — Coleen M. Shaw, 89, died Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Howthorne House in Freeport. She was born on July 2, 1929, in Richmond to Horace and Ethel (Dearborn) Geroves.
Coleen moved to Brunswick where she lived most of her life. On March 4, 1948, she was married in Brunswick to Romeo J. Shaw. Coleen enjoyed knitting sweaters and other clothing and painting on plastic canvas.
Coleen was predeceased by her husband Romeo J. Shaw and a brother Earle Geroves. She is survived by her son Earle C. Shaw and his wife Wendy of Topsham, a brother Carroll Geroves of Brunswick and four grandchildren.
