BIDDEFORD — Patricia A. (Durant) Martel, age 73 of Kennebunk, died on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, with her loving family by her side.
Born Aug. 10, 1945 in Biddeford a daughter of Wilfred and Theresa (Janelle) Durant, Pat was educated in the Saco school system and graduated from Biddeford High School in 1964.
Patricia worked for many years in the food service industry and was proud to have worked as a phlebotomist for the American Red Cross, before her retirement.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard A. Martel and a daughter Kristen (Nadeau) Davis.
Patricia is survived by a daughter Kimberly (Nadeau) Killer of Bath; grandson Tyler Killer of Brooklyn, New York; sisters, Lillian Morris of Lakeland, Florida, Doris Denison and husband Arthur of Saco, and Arlene Rochefort and partner Robert Estey of Saco; and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Patricia’s wishes, all service are private. Burial will take place at Maine Veterans’ Cemetery in Springvale at a later date.
Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, Maine 04005 has been entrusted with arrangements.
