I am thrilled that Rep. Teresa Pierce, D-Falmouth, is running for re-election in District 44. Teresa has a long track record of supporting environmental sustainability, in her professional work, her service to Falmouth and in Augusta. As a legislator, she finds creative ways to meets the needs of Falmouth residents, including our most vulnerable populations. Some of her tangible accomplishments that I especially appreciated were her votes to fill a funding gap for special education services and county jails, and to fund direct-care workers. Teresa works on big issues until concrete results are in place that benefit Falmouth and the state as a whole. Lots of things are in need of change. We can count on her to effect solutions. Please vote to keep Teresa so she can keep making wise changes that benefit all of us.
