Participants have less than a month to hike four Freeport trails and complete the 4th annual Freeport Trail Challenge. Riley, left, and Elli Sterling recently checked one of the hikes off their list after completing the Brewer Woods trail with their dog, Buck. Challenge passports are available until Nov. 5 at the Freeport Conservation Trust office at 53 Depot St., Freeport Town Hall, Freeport Community Center, the Casco Bay YMCA and Maine Beer Co., or contact FCT to get a passport by mail. Hikers who collect stamps from all four trails – Antoinette Jackman, Brewer Woods, Hedgehog Mountain and Ridge Trail – or post a selfie from their walk on Facebook or Instagram will be eligible for prizes.
