BIDDEFORD — Donald Boissonneault, 89, of Biddeford died Friday Oct. 12, 2018 at home with his family at his side.

He was born Nov. 21, 1928 in Biddeford a son of Philias and Lucienne (Gosselin) Boissonneault and was educated locally.

Donald Served in the United States Air Force.

On May 6, 1950 he married Regina Provencal at St Mary’s Church.

Along with his wife and son Ron, they received their high school diplomas from Biddeford High School in 1975.

Donald had been employed with Edwards and Columbia markets and had retired from General Dynamics.

He enjoyed working around his home and working with his tractor.  Time with his grandchildren was dear to him as well as trips to Disney World.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina on Aug. 2018; he was also predeceased by his parents, his infant daughter Brenda, brothers Armand and Andre, and grandson Cory-Boissonneault-Fontaine.

Surviving are daughters Patricia, Brenda, and Sharon Boissonneault, Joyce Fontaine and her husband Gary, Rachel White and her husband Earl and Rita Limbert; sons Ronald Boissonneault and his wife Joy and Gerard Boissonneault and his wife Leona; a sister Suzanne Nielson of Wyoming; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Hope Chapel.
