NORTH BERWICK — Mark B. Angers, 60, of North Berwick, died on Monday, Nov. 26, 2018 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

Mark was born on Oct. 23, 1958 to Marcel and Denise (L’Herault) Angers in Sanford where he grew up and attended local schools, graduating from Sanford High School.  He proudly served for many years on the Springvale Call Fire Department.  During his working life, Mark was employed as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for Pepin Concrete and L.V. Allen before taking a job as a tanker driver for H.A. Mapes where he had worked for the last 25 years.

Mark loved spending time outdoors and going for 4-wheeler and motorcycle rides with his dog Diezel.  When he was younger he also enjoyed skiing, snowmobiling and fishing.  He had been a member of the Sanford Elks Lodge and the Knights of Columbus.  Mark always enjoyed helping people with whatever projects they were working on and spending time with family and friends.  He will be remembered as a kind and loving man and will be dearly missed.

Mark was predeceased by his parents and by a sister, Linda Torno.

Surviving are his partner, Patricia Dutil of North Berwick; his stepdaughter, Desserrae Dutil of Sanford; three siblings, Michael Angers and his wife Diane of Springvale, Daniel Angers and his partner Victoria Cook of Springvale and Diane “Rosie” Angers of Springvale; nieces and nephews, James Angers, Jacob Angers, Michelle Angers, Natasha Nesbitt, Ethan Angers, Alyssa Angers, Amanda Angers, Ryan Torno, Heather Roux, Josh Torno and Jessica Torno.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon with a funeral following at noon on Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, located at 580 Main St. in Springvale.

Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
